There is something wonderful and magical about birds. I am blessed to live in a place where I am ofren surrounded by the most stunning and character-full birds. In this series titled 'Birds of my Neighbourhood', I have paired them with some of the beautiful native plants that thrive in the South-West of WA.
This painting is based on one of the cheeky permanent residents of Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre whom I had the pleasure of meeting for my birthday. This artwork is a combination of traditional oil painting and digital painting.
